My good friend Jennifer came to town this weekend with her little girl Halynn. This was the first time Caitlin and Halynn have met. Halynn seemed to be infatuated with Caitlin and would squeal whenever she was near her. Caitlin on the other hand wasn't so sure about this little thing that would move and make noises. It was cute. The mommies had a great time seeing each other too!
Miss Halynn.....one adorable five month old!
Look at those big beautiful brown eyes!

Laughing at her mommy. I could just eat her up.
"Aunt Jenn" and Caitlin reading her book. She's still in love with books these days.

Caitlin's first visit to the Zoo
On Monday, Lee decided that it would be a fun idea to go to the zoo for the morning. Since it's softball season and he is gone a lot, we haven't seen much of each other. We were in need of some family time - just the three of us. He took the morning off of work and we headed to Greenville. We had a great time and Caitlin seemed to enjoy it too. She was happy and content just to walk around and look at the animals. She wasn't overly excited, but we all had fun. After a quick lunch at Chik-Fil-A, we headed back home. Thought I'd share some of our joy......

Caitlin's first snow!
This evening, snow began to fall. The newsmen had forcast snow, but we all know that we never believe them in South Carolina! Not until we actually see with our own eyes that snow is actually falling from the sky. So when it was predicted to snow, I was skeptical to say the least. It was sleeting when we were in church this morning and you could hear it hitting the windows while the visiting missionary spoke. The roads were icy and slushy in Ware Shoals so it was a slow drive home. But at home it was just raining until about 4:30pm when it began snowing and it has been coming down for several hours already. We took Caitlin out in it when she got up from her nap as you never know when it will stop snowing and I didn't want to risk her missing it. She seemed to have a blast and screamed when it was time to come inside. She quickly was occupied with some other distraction though. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
This is so much fun.
