The new softball field was played on for the first time on Thursday. There was a ceremony held that dedicated it to Papa. It was named Buddy Collins Memorial Field. It was a dream of Papa'a to be able to have these group of five senior girls to play on a field of their own. That dream is now a reality for them. Papa is smiling I'm sure! One of the plaques on the columns when you enter the field. There are two columns, and the plaques above and below are on each column.
Each of the light colored stones have a players name and graduation date or position played or year of graduation or nickname. There are also names of the coaches. Great layout!
